CIS Controls Platform Statements
Reference for Super Admins editing the global capability narratives shown to tenants for each of the 153 CIS Controls v8.1 Safeguards.
What is a Platform Statement?
A platform statement is a single, global narrative per Safeguard that describes how the RAIC platform helps an organization implement that Safeguard. Tenants see the published narrative read-only inside the Safeguard response drawer and the Coverage report.
Editing a statement does not overwrite any tenant's per-safeguard response. Tenant responses live in cis_safeguard_responses and are owned by each organization independently.
Workflow
- Open
/superadmin/account-tools/cis-platform-statements. - Click a row to open the edit dialog.
- Save Draft stores the new status/narrative without bumping the version.
- Publish bumps the version, stamps
published_at, and records a history row. - Every save emits
CIS_PLATFORM_STATEMENT_EDITEDin the platform audit log.
